Nos regocijamos por el nombramiento de nuestros dos nuevos obispos auxiliares, el obispo electo John Bonnici y el obispo electo Joseph Espaillat. Los obispos electos prestaron juramento de fidelidad y profesión de fe ante el cardenal Dolan el 15 de febrero en el Centro Católico de Nueva York en Manhattan.

El Cardenal Dolan será el obispo ordenante principal y el celebrante de la Misa de Ordenación de Obispos para el Obispo electo John Bonnici y el Obispo electo Joseph Espaillat en la Catedral de San Patricio el martes 1 de marzo.

Los principales obispos coordinadores son los obispos auxiliares eméritos Gerald Walsh y John O'Hara.

  We rejoice in the appointment of our two new auxiliary bishops, Bishop-elect John Bonnici and Bishop-elect Joseph Espaillat. Bishop-elects took their oath of fidelity and profession of faith witnessed by Cardinal Dolan on Feb. 15 in the New York Catholic Center in Manhattan

Cardinal Dolan will be the principal ordaining bishop and celebrant at the Mass of Ordination of Bishops for Bishop-elect John Bonnici and Bishop-elect Joseph Espaillat at St. Patrick’s Cathedral Tuesday, March 1.

The principal co-ordaining bishops are Auxiliary Bishops Emeriti Gerald Walsh and John O’Hara.
